Lean On Me

  • Lean On Me

leaning-tree2Nature appreciates the importance of relying on others when you need support. When I took a walk this morning, I saw a tall tree resting on its neighboring tree.  The resting tree was alive but not strong enough to grow upright.

Like the injured tree, sometimes we need the support of a neighbor, a friend, or a family member.  We can also be the support for someone, for a plant or for an animal.  It requires paying attention and reaching out.

When I looked closer at the supporting tree, I saw plants with heart-shaped leaves growing at its base.  Corbilina loves heart shapes in nature as reminders for us to show kindness to nature and to people.
