Fotokids, a non-profit originally called Out of the Dump, currently serves children from improvished areas in Guatemala and Honduras and from farm worker families in the Central Valley of California.

Children use photography, graphic design, media technology and vocational training  to learn self-expression, creativity, leadership and opportunities for future employment.

Graduates of this program established Jakaramba, a professional graphic design company. The company has provided services to the United Nations, and to many non-profits, and to commercial studios for book design, photography, web-site development and video production and training for younger students. Kindness to make a difference in the lives of children.
